| If you can't bear the hot
Scirocco, a wind from Sahara that blows sometime during
the Summer, and the sea water doesn't give enough refreshment,
you can dive in the cool water of river Chidro. It is
an underground river that comes up, flowing on surface,
only fifty meters from the sea shore: its clean water
is always at the same temperature of 15 °C |

several weekly markets. Held in the villages and small
town of Salento they still have something of Arabic
in the way you can and must bargain. A little tip: wear
confortable shoes, a baseball cap and don't forget to
bring small change for the bargain! |
